About me

I moved to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands from New York City on July 1st, 1985. Some thought it’d be too much change…I knew it was just what I needed. Nature is my muse. Here, there’s lots of light, many glorious shades of blue in the sea just off my studio deck, green islands dotting the seascape with their sensual silhouettes. I’m grateful every day to be living here.

My studio is next to my house, just a short walk down a stone path through the woods. Parrots, kestrels, hummingbirds, pearly-eyed thrashers, red-tailed hawks, iguanas and many lizards come to visit. Sometimes in the winter humpback whales swim by. It’s a peaceful place, listening to the wind and birds (and my tunes).
